Daemerys Targaryen

About Daemerys

• More

Born Daemerys Targaryen, to Maekar I Targaryen and Dyanna Dayne. Born a few minutes after her twin brother, Aerion, Daemerys showed even in birth, that she would be the calm to Aerion’s fury. The maesters would later whisper it was an omen: fire tempered by foresight… The Realm’s Hope.
Named after the famed princess of old, her mother, Dyanna insisted that her name be Daemerys, not only for her beauty, but her resilience. From Dyanna she inherited the quiet steel of Starfall; from Maekar, the iron will of the dragon.
By childhood, she had become quite immersed in the histories as well as the laws and the tales of Aegon the Conqueror. Daemerys was never the type to speak a lot, but whenever she did, people listened and took heed.
When it comes to her relationship with her twin brother, Aerion… they are forever bound by blood but it is well documented that they are divided by nature. No one but her could calm Aerion when he would rage. Something that would cease to exist.
That faithful day came when she stood between a stable boy and Aerion to keep him from doing something cruel like he had many times before. Citing that his cruel actions harm others without explanation. That strained her relationship with Aerion even more than it already was.
Her relationships with her brothers Aemon, Daeron and Egg are all special to her in their own way. Especially her relationship with Aegon ‘egg’. Her relationship with Egg was a major part of why Aerion and Daemerys were not as close as they used to be.
